An INFP’s learning is improved when:
  1. Material is delivered on a theoretical basis, especially as it applies to the humanities and social sciences
  2. Concrete material touches on the humanities
  3. They work independently with the study material
  4. The same material is delivered from varied viewpoints (improves retention)
  5. Material is delivered at a moderate pace
  6. Material is complex (often intensifies their drive)
An INFP’s learning is hindered when:
  1. They do not consider the material to be of personal importance
  2. They need to understand material that is purely logical or not related to the humanities or social sciences
  3. Large amounts of information lacking substantial conceptual connection are delivered at a fast pace
  4. The information received does not significantly deepen their understanding in the area of study (reduces interest)
  5. The material does not appeal to their feelings and emotions
  6. Studying is left until the last minute (can be stressful)
